New Zealand Tourist Visa (Visitor Visa) Document Checklist

Passport: A scanned copy of the first and last pages. Your passport must be valid for at least 3 months beyond your intended departure date from New Zealand.
Photograph: Recent passport-sized photograph (standard visa specifications).
National ID: A clear copy of your Aadhaar card or PAN card.
Cover Letter: A formal letter detailing the purpose of your travel, travel dates, passport information, and an overview of your itinerary.
Travel Itinerary: A detailed, day-by-day plan of your stay in New Zealand.
Accommodation & Flights (Recommended): Flight tickets and hotel bookings are not strictly mandatory for submission but are highly recommended to support your application.

Applicants must demonstrate sufficient funds to cover all travel and living expenses while in New Zealand.

Bank Statements: Original personal bank statements for the last 6 months.
- Requirement: Must show maintaining a minimum balance of at least INR 3 Lakhs per person.
- Sponsored Trips: If your trip is sponsored, provide the sponsor’s 6-month bank statements.
Income Tax Returns (ITR): ITR acknowledgment forms for the last 2 consecutive years or Form 16.
- Benchmark: Ideally reflects a declared annual income exceeding INR 8 Lakhs.
- Sponsored Trips: If sponsored, provide the sponsor's ITR documents.
Proof of Investments (Optional): Documentation of fixed deposits (FDs), property ownership, shares, or other investments to demonstrate strong financial ties to your home country.

Employer NOC: An original leave approval and reference letter on company letterhead. It must specify your designation, current salary, length of employment, and approved leave dates.
Salary Slips: Clear copies of your pay slips for the last 3 consecutive months.

Business Registration: Company registration license or GST registration copy as proof of business ownership.
Current Account Statement: Recent bank statements for the company’s current account.
Company ITR: Income Tax Returns filed for the business (if available).

If Married: A copy of your official Marriage Certificate.
If Minor (Under 18):
- Official Birth Certificate.
- Copy of the applicant's Student ID card (if currently enrolled in school).

Invitation Letter: A formal letter from your host detailing your passport information, the purpose and duration of your visit, the address where you will reside, and the host's direct contact details.
Host Identity Proof: Scanned copies of the host’s passport (first and last pages) alongside their valid New Zealand Resident Permit or Visa.

Please ensure you have the following details ready when filling out your visa application:

Relationship Status Details: State whether you are single, married, divorced, separated, or widowed. If married, you must provide your partner’s full name, date of birth, place of birth, current residential address, and occupation.
Employment Details:
- Current Workers: Exact job title, organization name, official email address, office phone number, physical address, and your date of joining.
- Retirees: Your final designation, organization name, office contact details, exact date of retirement, and the start/end dates of your last paid employment.
Funding Declaration: Clear indication of how the trip is funded (Self, Company, institutional organization, or a private sponsor). You must provide the full name, relationship, and address of any external sponsoring person or organization.
