Switzerland Visa Application Documentation Requirements

  • Switzerland Tourist Visa: Applicable for leisure travelers, tourists, or individuals visiting friends and family residing in Switzerland.

  • Salary Slips: Official salary slips covering the last 3 consecutive months. For Business visas, each page must be stamped and signed by the bank.

  • Bank Account Statements: Salary account statements AND personal bank statements covering the last 3 consecutive months. Every page must bear an original bank stamp and signature.

  • Personal Taxation: Personal Income Tax Returns (ITR-V, verification form, or official acknowledgment) for the last 2 assessment years.

Self-Employed Applicants

  • Business Ownership Proof: Valid legal proof of registration, such as a GST Registration certificate (including Annex A & B), formal partnership deeds, or verified proof of sole proprietorship/ownership.

  • Bank Account Statements: Personal AND business bank statements covering the last 3 consecutive months, featuring a bank stamp and signature on every page.

  • Taxation: Both Personal Income Tax Returns (ITR-V) and Company Income Tax Returns for the last 2 assessment years.

Retired Applicants

  • Pension Proof: Official personal pension bank statements reflecting the last 3 consecutive months.

  • Income Verification: Legally certified proof of regular income generated via business assets or property ownership.

Student Applicants

  • Financial Backing: Personal bank statements of parents, legal guardians, or sponsors covering the last 3 months, with an official bank stamp and signature on every page.

  • Sponsorship Letter: A formalized sponsorship letter detailing comprehensive financial support for the duration of the trip.

  • Guardian Identification: Clear copies of the passports of both parents or legal guardians.

Sponsored or Unemployed Applicants

Business Partners (Business Stream Supplement)

  • Official Swiss Business Invitation: An invitation letter directly from the commercial host partner in Switzerland containing their full name, address, email, and phone number. It can be submitted as an original or copy, must be signed and stamped, and must outline the invitee’s details, travel timelines, purpose of visit, and a comprehensive day-to-day schedule of business meetings or trainings.

Minors (Under 18 Years)

  • Traveling with One Parent: A written consent letter from the non-traveling parent or legal guardian, certified by a public notary.

  • Traveling Alone: A written consent letter from both parents or legal guardians, certified by a public notary.

  • Students Over 16: A clear copy of your college/student ID card along with an official introduction/bonafide letter issued by the School, College, or University.

  • Identification Block: In all instances, copies of both parents' (or legal guardians') passports, PAN cards, or driving licenses must be attached to the minor's file.

5. Supplemental Information Required for Digital Submission

Please have the following data profiles prepared to complete your online portal submission:

  • Schengen History & Biometrics:

    • A list of any other Schengen countries you plan to visit during this trip.

    • Your confirmed first country of entry into the Schengen zone.

    • Start and end dates of any Schengen visas issued to you in the past 5 years.

    • Confirmation of prior digital fingerprint collection, including the exact date of capturing and the previous visa number (if known).

  • Civil Information: Full name of your Father; Full name of your Mother. Select your current legal marital status (Single, Married, Divorced, Widowed, Unmarried Partner, Separated).

  • Itinerary Metrics: Total duration of stay in the Schengen area (declared as a specific number of days).

  • Granular Professional Profiles:

    • Students: Full institution name, full address, and official institutional email address.

    • Employees / Self-Employed: Name of organization/business, precise job title, corporate address, and official workplace email.

    • Unemployed: Declaration of your last job role and your exact final date of working.

    • Retired: Exact official date of retirement.

  • Financial Sourcing Profiles: If your trip is funded by an external party, declare if it is being paid by a Friend/Family, Employer, or another distinct Company.
