Norway Tourist Visa Document Checklist
Primary Identification and Application Documents

Travel and Itinerary Accommodations

Flight Tickets: A confirmed roundtrip travel itinerary indicating fixed travel dates (not exceeding 90 days) and the correct number of entries. Note: It is advised not to purchase finalized tickets until the visa has been granted; the visa will be issued reflecting the dates on these bookings.

Hotel Reservations: Documented confirmation of accommodation covering the entire duration of the stay in Norway and any other Schengen member states to be visited.

Travel Insurance: A comprehensive insurance policy issued in the applicant's name, valid for the entirety of the travel duration across the Schengen area. The policy must reimburse medical costs of at least €30,000, explicitly covering hospital care, emergency treatment, and repatriation.
Financial Documentation

Bank Statements: Copies of personal bank account statements encompassing the most recent six-month period.
Occupational Requirements

If Employed: Payslips covering the last three months, a formal employment contract, and a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the employer authorizing the holiday period.

If a Student: A No Objection Certificate (NOC) issued by the educational institution.
Specialized Travel Arrangements

For Packaged Tours: A certificate from the organizing travel agency confirming the booking and detailed itinerary, alongside confirmation of payment for the cruise or package tour.

For Independent Travel: A comprehensive and detailed travel plan or schedule.

Power of Attorney (Optional): A formal letter granting Power of Attorney if the applicant designates another individual to represent them in the application process.
Additional Required Information
Applicants must be prepared to provide the following supplementary details regarding their travel profile:

Schengen Itinerary: Identification of the first country of entry and any other Schengen countries to be visited during the stay.

Duration: The total number of days planned within the Schengen area.

Visa History: Details of any Schengen visas issued within the preceding five years, including the start and end dates of the most recent visa.

Biometrics: Confirmation of whether digital fingerprints were taken for a previous Schengen visa application, including the date of capture and the associated visa number.

Personal Status: Current marital status (Single, Married, Divorced, Widowed, Unmarried Partner, or Separated).

Employment Details:

Students: Name, address, and email of the institution.

Employed: Name, address, and email of the employer/organization, along with the job title.

Unemployed: Last held job role and the final date of employment.
