General Application Guidelines

Submission Channel: Applications are processed through VFS Global.
Processing Time: Typically takes between 15 to 30 days to complete.
Document Copies: Applicants must prepare all original documents along with one set of clear photocopies.

Valid Passport: Must be valid for at least 3 months beyond the planned return date from the Schengen zone and contain at least 2 consecutive blank pages.
Schengen Visa Application Form: Fully completed and signed.
Passport Photographs: Two recent, color photographs (35x45 mm) with a white background, demonstrating 70-80% face coverage, taken within the last 6 months.
Personal Cover Letter: Explaining the precise purpose of the visit, a detailed day-by-day itinerary, and overall travel plans.

Financial Documentation:
- Original, updated personal bank statements for the last 3–6 months showing a sufficient balance to sustain the trip.
- Income Tax Returns (ITR) or Form 16 for the last 2 years.
Travel Medical Insurance: Mandatory Schengen-compliant policy providing a minimum coverage of €30,000 for medical emergencies and repatriation.
Travel & Lodging Proof: Confirmed return flight tickets, hotel reservations, or a detailed day-wise travel itinerary.

For Employed Individuals:
- An official No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the employer specifying the approved leave period and designation.
- Salary slips for the last 3 months.
For Self-Employed Individuals:
- Business Registration License, Memorandum of Association (MOA), or Partnership Deed.
- Company bank statements for the last 6 months.
- Company Income Tax Returns (ITR).
For Students:
- Valid School or University ID card.
- Official Bonafide or Enrollment Certificate.
For Retired Individuals:
- Official pension statement or pension passbook.
For Minors (Under 18 Years):
- Birth certificate.
- NOC signed by both parents or legal guardians.
- Copies of parents' passports or government-issued ID proofs.

Visiting Family or Friends:
- An official invitation letter endorsed by the Hungarian Office of Immigration.
- The inviter’s passport copy, residence permit, and address card.
Business Visa:
- An official invitation letter from the host company in Hungary detailing the purpose and duration of the trip.
- A formal covering letter from the applicant's Indian employer.
