Denmark Tourist Visa Document Checklist
1. Standard Travel Documents

Original Passport: Must be valid for at least 3 months beyond your intended departure from the Schengen area (6 months for non-standard travel documents) and contain at least 2 blank pages.

Visa Fee Receipt: Printed proof of payment from the online application portal.

Appointment Slip: The physical confirmation slip required for entry on the day of your visa appointment.
2. Trip & Accommodation Proofs

Flight Reservations: Confirmed round-trip flight tickets. If visiting multiple Schengen states, include proof of intra-Schengen travel (flights, train itineraries, or car rentals).

Accommodation Proof: Confirmed hotel bookings or an official accommodation guarantee covering the entire duration of the stay.

Cover Letter: A formal letter detailing the precise purpose of your trip and a day-by-day itinerary.
3. Financial & Tax Documentation

Bank Statements: Original personal bank statement from the last 3 months, bearing the applicant's name, duly stamped and signed by the bank.

Note on Funds: You must demonstrate a minimum of DKK 500 per day if staying in a hotel, or DKK 350 per day if staying in a private home.

Income Tax Returns (ITR): Copies of your Income Tax Returns along with the ITR-V acknowledgment for the last 2 financial years.
4. Employment-Specific Requirements
For Employed Applicants

Payslips covering the last 3 months.

Official employment contract.

Formal holiday approval / leave sanction letter from the employer.
For Self-Employed Applicants

Official Certificate of Registration of the company or business entity.
For Retired Applicants

Pension statements covering the last 3 months.

5. Special Categories
Sponsored Applications

An official proof of sponsorship.

A formal invitation/sponsorship letter from the sponsor.

A copy of the sponsor's valid photo ID (e.g., Passport, Driver's License, or equivalent national identity card).
Minors (Under 18)

Birth Certificate: A photocopy of the minor’s official birth certificate.

Parental ID: Photocopies of both parents' passports or official photo IDs containing signatures.

Consent for Solo Travel: If traveling alone, a written consent form signed by both parents/guardians and certified by a public notary.
